Bring back the death penalty

 http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2012/06/03/toronto-eaton-centre-shooting-investigation.html

Our Mayor says this is a safe city. He's the mayor. What else is he going to say? The fact is, that in the 35 years I have lived in Toronto this city is not safe anymore. The frequency of the violence and public killings by gang punks is increasing. It happens in malls, in schools and on the street. Even the subway and nice restaurants and clubs. The increased immigration and lax laws we have here have pushed this city and country to the brink. It is time to bring back the death penalty. There is simply no fear from these juvenile delinquent punks.
I am not scared to go anywhere, but the city is not safe. That is fact. We used to think it was safe to go out late at night in this city. It's not. You can't even eat dinner in the food court in the Eaton Center,  one of the biggest malls in the world. That is not a safe city. It is time to get tough with gang punks and let them know that there are consequences if they take their petty gang fights and wars to the open public spaces.

Sorry to hear that Mark. We have a lot of crime here as well and we have the death penalty. Well, sort of. It's there, but they aren't actually doing it as you saw in my blog. The unemployment rate here in Stockton is through the roof and violence is on the rise. A few months ago, my son was robbed at gunpoint in his car when he stopped to get gas. Due to budget problems, most cities (including ours) are laying off police officers. Last year they opened a new police department office near us that was desperately needed, and it is already closed.
