I love reality tv. Just love it.
Survivor, The Biggest Loser, Jon and Kate, Cake Boss, American Idol, So you think you can dance?, Dancing with the stars, Jersey Shore, these are classics of the golden age of tv that we will be telling our grandchildren about for years to come. Forget Lucy, Seinfeld, Mad Men, Streets of San Francisco, All In The Family, The Fugitive, those were shows with no real meaning and substance.
But I'm afraid that reality tv, like all good genres, has hit a crossroads. So, in the interest of keeping this revolution in tv viewing (and making sure that the networks can keep reaping huge profits on this low budget, non drama driven pap), im proposing that it morphs in a new direction.
So, big wig network execs, get ready for my new show proposal.
Its called THE BIGGEST SURVIVOR, and basically it's the biggest loser meets survivor.
So, here is the high concept idea.
20 extremely overweight people (the losers) are taken to an island and told the one who can stay on the island and maintain their weight is the winner (the survivor).
So, cant miss right. You think im really trying to be funny here, but wait a couple of years, and when you see it on the screen, you wont be laughing then.
